With our background in construction we’re able to plan and garden buildings in a range of materials and finishes including brick, breeze-block, concrete and timber.
From a secure and watertight home for a classic car or motorbike, to a cosy garden office for home working we’ve helped dozens of customers add value and space to their homes.
Examples include:
- Garages
- Sheds
- Gazebos and shelters
- Garden offices
- Playrooms
- Garden pubs and man caves
We have our own diggers, machinery and attachments (with more specialist available to hire) and can plan and install foundations and drainage as required as well as constructing the final building.

FAQ’s – Garden Buildings
Do I need to have planning permission?
Sometimes, but not always – there are several factors involved and it can be complicated. Usually it depends on the size of the building and it’s exact location with regards to your boundary.
We can assist and advise with the process – please speak to us.
Where do you cover?
We’re happy to travel but most of our work is around a 50 mile drive of our base near Dumfries (excluding Cumbria).
Will mine be the only project you’re working on?
Yes. We know how frustrating it can be to feel like your project has been stalled or abandoned when the contracts seemingly start and then leave it for days or weeks at a time. This is usually when the workforce involved are juggling too many plates at once.
Occasionally we’ll be held up due to the weather but unless absolutely unavoidable, when we start working on your project, we’ll be there until we’re done.
Do you offer a build/erection only service?
Yes, we’re more than happy to construct something purchased in kits or pre-fabricated supply only form. This can also include things like ensuring adequate foundations and drainage and providing cable runs for electrical works later.
Do I need to pay a deposit?
Yes, we usually invoice a 20% deposit to secure the job and a slot in the work queue. We’ll agree a payment plan with you ahead of time and the project will be invoiced in instalments as we progress.
How long does it take to…. (insert service here)?
No two jobs are the same. We work on projects of all shapes and sizes; some take weeks and others can be completed within an afternoon.
We don’t charge for any of the initial quote or scope out works – please speak to us.
